Google Shuts Down Google Health and Google PowerMeter Services

Google confirmed in a blog post on Friday that its two services, Google Health and Google PowerMeter are both officially dead. The Google Health and Google PowerMeter services were launched in 2008 and 2009 respectively with a hope to make a serious impact on healthcare and people’s power usage. But neither saw the level of adoption that made them worth maintaining over the long term.
