Mobile Number Portability Across India on Jan 20

Reuters reports that, mobile number portability will be launched across India on January 20, Communications Minister Kapil Sibal said. Mobile number portability allows users to retain their number even if they switch operators. MNP was to be introduced in all telecoms zones by March 31, 2010.
