“Flavors from India” and “Masala Pedia” Launched on Intel AppUp Center
Following with the app “Sweet Flavors of India” in Intel app store and Apple store, CDN launched its two more applications “Flavors from India”, ver.- 1.2 and “Masala Pedia”, ver.- 1.0 in Intel appUp center.
Flavors from India- The app currently offer regional cuisines of 9 states including Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Rajasthani, Kashmiri, Mughlai, Punjabi, Kerali, Goan. This app is created with intension and vision to make Indian regional cuisines more popular and also to aware people for the region when they choose a particular dish.
Masala Pedia- As the name conveys “Masala Pedia” hold all the information about Masala (spice). The app helps users to understand Indian masala names by translating them in different languages including English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. “Masala Pedia” is obligatory for Indian cuisine lovers.

Mahindra “Mobile Seva” Launched Across South India
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., announced the launch of the “MAHINDRA MOBILE SEVA” which is a unique customer centric initiative, aimed at providing door step service solutions for its 3 Wheelers and other commercial vehicles. A first of its kind initiative in the commercial vehicle space, the “MAHINDRA MOBILE SEVA” has been commissioned across the southern states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
This service will also be rolled out across the country, in a phased manner. Being a major market for commercial vehicles, 30 of these mobile service vans are currently commissioned in the southern states.

Mobile Phone Radiation Causes Harmful Effects in Humans
An extensive research need for mobile phone radiation, we need clear evidence that using a mobile phone causes long term harmful effects in humans.
Reports currently made could force a rethink on the casual ease with which we use, sometimes overuse, mobile phones.
For making and receiving calls mobile phone use radio frequency(RF) waves.But it use very low energy radio frequency and now the studies suggested it pose a health hazard.

- Direct brain warming after prolonged use, which disperses as soon as you stop using your phone and causes no harm
- Mild fatigue after prolonged use
A recent studies reported that acoustic neuromas are twice as common in mobile phone users than in those who do not use mobiles.
Because of this contradition the World Health Organization (WHO)
finding in 2010, there was no health effects have been established for mobile phone use
Dr R S Sharma, ICMR scientist said that the effects of the radiation are deadlier in Indians when compared to Europeans due to their low body mass index and low fat content. The tropical climate in India also aggravating the effect. The report pointed out that children, adolescents and pregnant women could be at the maximum risk and recommends simple precautions by using the hands-free technology to lower physical contact with the body and the cell phone, use land line phones more often, and minimise usage of cellphones among children and pregnant women and should keep their cellphone at least 30 cm away from the implant,” it adds.

Maxx Mobile to Raise Rs 800 Crore through IPO
Mumbai-based Maxx Mobile plans to raise Rs 800 crore through an Initial Public Offer (IPO) in the next nine months. In a growing trend, the Rs 30,000-crore a year mobile handset market is seeing a lot of domestic brands ramp up operations and raise capital as they plan to start manufacturing their own handsets. As of now, all Indian players import handsets from China and Taiwan because imports attract a negligible custom duty.
The money raised from the IPO will be used in setting up a handset manufacturing unit and starting the group’s retail venture. Maxx Retail will be a multi- brand store stocking mobile phones and mobile related offerings scheduled to open in Delhi in a 5,000-square-feet area. The retail store will stock competitor brands and sell phone connections and offer sales service.
Maxx group clocked a turnover of Rs 1,200 till December last year.[via]
Google to Provide $5 Million to Promote Rural Education in India
Bharti Foundation said that Google will provide financial support of $5 million to upgrade and support 50 Satya Bharti elementary schools, run by the Foundation.
These schools, present in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, will now be named Satya Elementary schools, he added.
